As Christmas approaches, I find myself slowing down in a way the calendar rarely demands but the season quietly insists. It invites reflection. It calls us home. And it reminds us that while the world measures progress in quarters and headlines, life measures meaning in moments: shared meals, hard conversations, quiet laughter, and the simple miracle of being together.

This time of year, we celebrate life itself: its fragility, its abundance, and its extraordinary capacity for renewal. We celebrate family, chosen and given. We celebrate friendships that steady us. We celebrate communities that hold us when we stumble and cheer when we rise. And we celebrate the causes that give our work weight and our days direction.

Looking back on 2025, I feel deep gratitude.

This was a year of meaningful momentum across all three expressions of my public life – TWENTY/FIVE, The Kairos Exchange, and the Jennings Family Foundation – and more importantly, a year of alignment. The throughline was never transactions or tactics. It was people, relationships, and purpose.

At TWENTY/FIVE, we continued refining what it means to truly serve people, not just financially, but holistically. This year, we sharpened our client-facing conversations to better reflect what has always been true: wealth is not the end goal. It is a tool. A platform. A responsibility. When we help people see farther (like the birds of prey with 20/5 vision) we help them make decisions today that honor what they care about most tomorrow. In 2025, that meant smarter planning, deeper collaboration with advisors, and helping our wonderful clients convert complexity into clarity and confidence. The result wasn’t just better financial outcomes, it was purpose, impact, and peace of mind.

At The Kairos Exchange, 2025 was a year of connection turning into action. We convened innovators, mentors, mentees, advocates, and community leaders around shared purpose. Together creating spaces where ideas didn’t just circulate, they landed. Kairos is built on the belief that opportunity emerges when the right people meet at the right moment and this year, we saw that belief validated again and again. From the Opportunity Forums to partnerships with organizations investing in the next generation, we watched curiosity spark courage, and courage spark change.

And through The Jennings Family Foundation, generosity continued to find its way home. This year, we supported organizations and initiatives serving families, children, and communities with both urgency and care. What I’ve learned through the Foundation is this: philanthropy works best when it is relational, local, and rooted in dignity. The most meaningful impact doesn’t come from writing checks alone, it comes from listening, from showing up, and from staying involved. Ashley’s continued leadership and the collective commitment of those around the Foundation remind me that compassion, when organized, multiplies.

But beyond the work, 2025 was also a year of personal reminders.

• That health is a gift.
• That time is precious.
• That laughter matters.
• That wonder is not something we outgrow. It’s something we risk losing when we stop paying attention.

Christmas has a way of returning us to first principles. It centers us on love freely given. On hope entering the world quietly, not loudly. On light breaking through darkness.

As we look ahead to 2026, I feel a genuine sense of optimism; a feeling that comes from lived experience.

In the year ahead, our focus will deepen.

At TWENTY/FIVE, we’ll continue building a virtual family office experience that integrates wealth, wisdom, and legacy to help people move from success to significance with intention.

At The Kairos Exchange, we’ll expand the circle by bringing more voices into the conversation, creating more opportunities for connection, and translating vision, desire, and inspiration into tangible outcomes for communities and causes that matter.

At the Jennings Family Foundation, we’ll remain committed to investing where compassion meets effectiveness by supporting work that strengthens families and builds resilience where it’s needed most.

But perhaps most importantly, in 2026 we’ll keep asking the most human question I know how to ask:

What do you need?

Not as a gesture. Not as a slogan. But as an invitation to connect you with the resources, relationships, and ideas that will help you thrive.

As you gather around tables, trees, candles, or memories this Christmas, I hope you feel the fullness of the season. I hope you notice the small wonders. I hope you rest without guilt. And I hope you enter the new year with both resolve and joy.
